It's possible that we will go to the State Fair next Friday . If you are interested, leave a comment or give me a call. There is talk of an early afternoon journey.

Fri September 19 - Rocky Horror Picture Show

The Establishment comes through for us again. The Rocky Horror Picture Show will be playing at UTA tonight. They've got an acting troupe to fill in the blanks. I've never actually seen the movie in its entirety. It could be interesting. Here's a link to the venue, or you could find out more here.

Thursday September 18 - Cave's Lounge

There was cheap beer on sale last night at Cave's Lounge. It's on sale every Thursday night. 930pm - 10pm beer is just $0.25. Every half hour it goes up $0.25 more cents until capping at $1.00.

We had quite a turnout. Some new blood from Keller even showed. It all shut down around 1:30am. And I thought I was going to make it into work. Yeah. Ha.

Thur, September 11, 2008 - Thomas Friedman

There is going to be a lecture at UTA featuring Thomas Friedman. It's open to the public and tickets are free. I strongly suggest going here or here and getting your tickets before they run out. I'm going to leave my house at least forty-five minutes early so that I can get a decent seat. If you have your tickets and want a ride, or want to pick my ass up give me a call.

Thur, September 4, 2008 - The Anniversary Party

Last week's movie, The Last Picture Show, was very good. What a great selection it was! And then I hear that there is a sequel called Texasville. Check it out if you like movies that take place in small towns.

Speaking of small towns, West Fest was rockin'. For all that didn't make it: shame on you. We left town at 8:15am and got back around 11:30pm. A very good day. Hopefully there will be pictures to share soon.

This week's movie, The Anniversary Party, has been provided by Jeremy & Lisa.
